In Chapter Eight the fair comes to the Hungarian plains. Jansci and Kate are SO excited! There are so many things to see. Best of all, the circus shows up, something Jansci has never seen before. But then Kate, ever the mischief maker, decides to prove to Jansci that one of the side shows is a fake. Listen along to find out who wins their argument.

In Chapter Seven Kate and Jansci go with father to pick out horses to sell. But rounding up two year old wild horses is no mean feat. When the horses stampede Kate and Jansci are swept up in the madness.

In Chapter 5 we find that Kate has been very well behaved since her first riding lesson. Because she kept her promise to behave, Uncle Marton keeps his promise to take her along the next time he and Jansci go to check on the sheep herds.
